Pre-call checklist.

Ensure that you have headphones or earphones plugged into your device, an echo may happen if no headphones are used

• We will be recording the video, so ensure your room is well-lit if possible and there are no bright lights or windows directly behind you.

• The less echo, the better. Rooms that have furniture and are smaller in size are best for recording if possible.

• Positioning the camera at eye level is best.

• Be sure that your setup has been tested, Zoom has a built-in testing feature http://zoom.us/test

  • Note that we do not use Zoom for our interviews, this is just a helpful way to test your setup

• Please log in at your scheduled time using Safari or Google Chrome and our engineer will add you to the studio

• Click the button below to join your virtual podcasting session

• Once you join the podcasting session please allow microphone access to continue

• The engineer won't be able to speak to you if you call in during showtime, but there is a chat box in the top right corner where they will give you feedback
